Drag brushing

Drag brushing is an essential part of any synthetic pitch maintenance programme. Through general use the sand infill will be naturally dispersed towards the edges of the pitch away from the high traffic areas. As the sand acts as the wearing course it is essential that this is returned back to these high use areas to prolong the life of the carpet. Drag brushing helps achieve this and is normally carried out with a drag brush or mat attached behind a suitable grounds maintenance vehicle on a weekly basis (industry standard).
