Ernest Doe appoints Marketing Manager

Machinery dealer Ernest Doe has appointed Derek Marriott as its first Marketing Manager, to be based at the company's headquarters at Ulting, near Maldon in Essex. Mr Marriott joins from Marriott Howard Publicity, the Ipswich-based advertising agency, where he was joint managing director.

The appointment will see Mr Marriott co-ordinating the company's marketing activities across its agricultural, construction, professional grass machinery and consumer markets. His responsibilities will encompass print-related and internet-based communications.

He also brings to us a wealth of experience gained in other markets, including professional, retail and consumer."
