Chelsea 1252.jpgLindum's Grassfelt and Wildflower have helped two Chelsea show gardens gain prestigious RHS awards.

Lindum Wildflower, the company's combination of wild flowers and non invasive grasses grown on a felt base, created a green roof for the Silver-Gilt winning Daylesford Organic garden 'Summer Solstice' and Grassfelt, Lindum's living sward, also grown on felt, created the lush, seamless, surround, contributing to a Silver Medal for the Studio Lasso garden, 'Garden In The Silver Moonlight.'

The Daylesford Organic garden, designed by del Buono Gazerwitz to show the journey of organically grown produce from the earth to the table, included a flat roofed garden kitchen, covered in Lindum Wildflower and sporting a solar panel.

Garden In The Silver Moonlight, designed by Haruko Seki of Studio Lasso to capture the reflection of the moon in a central pool, raised the main structural elements of pool, walkway and viewing platform on top of a huge Grassfelt covered mound.DSC00795.JPG

Stephen Fell, Lindum's MD is delighted with the success of both gardens. "Although this isn't the first time we've been involved with award winning Chelsea show gardens it's always exciting to see the results of everybody's hard work," he says. "The fact that the judges decided to award both gardens is a splendid reward."
