Harrod UK track records earns them gold at Commonwealth Games

The XVII Commonwealth Games in July this year are set to be the biggest sporting event on British soil this decade. It has already been declared the most successful Games ever, with more tickets sold than for any previous Commonwealth Games. 72 nations and over 5,000 sportsmen and women will come together to compete, making it the largest multi-sport event ever to be held in the UK.
For an event of this stature the competition in all areas is World Class and one UK Company with an International reputation has already taken the honours. Against stiff competition from other manufactures, Harrod UK have been nominated as official equipment suppliers for 4 major sports in the games.
All of the major venues will be supplied with Harrod UK equipment. Rugby Post, Post Protectors and Corner Flags at the City of Manchester Stadium, Hockey Goals, Nets and Corner Flags at the Belle View Complex, Netball Posts and Post Protectors at the Manchester Evening Arena, and Badminton Posts and Nets at the Bolton Arena will all be supplied and installed from Harrod UK's factory in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
