Invitation to a Campey Turf Care Renovation Day
Campey Turf Care Systems will be holding a Turf Care Renovation Day on Tuesday 13th August 2013, at the prestigious King William's College, Castledown, Isle of Man.
Working closely with Head groundsman Mike Atherton and local machinery dealer, Isle of Man Farmer, an exciting day of demonstration and information is planned by Campeys - and is one not to be missed.
Mike Atherton is delighted to be hosting this event. "It is with great pleasure that we welcome Campey Turfcare Systems to King William's College.
Over the past two years, we have noted a developing Turfcare sector on the Isle of Man, with a range of seminars and demonstration days taking place.
Many highly respected Groundsmen have visited the island to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with Manx Turfcare professionals and enthusiasts alike."
On this occasion, Campey Turf Care will be at our college to demonstrate a fantastic range of the best turf maintenance equipment machinery, some of which has previously been unseen on the Isle of Man.
This includes the Koro FTM with Terraplaner®, Vredo overseeder, Imants Shockwave and the new Air 2G2 aerator.
Campey Turf Care Systems is one of Europe's largest independent grounds care machinery suppliers and has earned a reputation for offering practical advice and superb aftercare service.
The company acts as a new equipment dealer for some of the most respected grounds care machinery manufacturers including Dakota, Imants, Koro, Raycam, Vredo and Omarv. Information on all these products and more can be found on the website at www.campeyturfcaresystems.com.
Campeys also has a thriving used machinery business and a subsidiary company, Tines Direct, which supplies replacement tines, blades and replacement parts for a wide range of turf care machinery.
"We are also delighted to welcome Keith Porter, Head Groundsman at Leigh Sports Village" said Mike. "He is going to give a presentation on maintaining Desso as well as natural turf pitches and will be available to offer specific advice to one and all."
"It is my hope that by continuing to deliver such seminars and working demonstrations, the support network to the Manx Groundsmen will continue to improve, along with the potential to further improve standards of turf care island-wide."
