LelyDistributor Lely UK's Consumer Division will be showcasing its expansive new product portfolio at this year's IOG Saltex show, having just added the SOLO range of premium gardening and outdoor equipment to its already popular Toro Consumer lawnmower and garden equipment offering.

The exhibition is the first real opportunity for dealers and industry professionals to find out more from Lely about its exciting new range. Spanning both professional and consumer products, German manufacturer SOLO specialises in producing equipment such as brushcutters, hand-held and knapsack sprayers, hedge trimmers, blowers and accessories to the highest of standards.

The extensive range also includes forestry chainsaws, which offer a 75 per cent reduction in emissions plus 20 per cent improvement in fuel economy on recommended levels and have been a European bestseller since their introduction in the late 1950s.

Standing apart from mass-produced, cut-price products rife in the gardening/outdoor machinery market, SOLO's philosophy is to offer buyers equipment that is both built to last and performs to professional standards. Opening up exciting opportunities to boost sales through a superb range of products, Lely has invited its existing Toro and Lely agricultural dealers, former SOLO dealers and prospective new partners to meet the consumer team at the show to find out more about the attractive terms on offer.

The Consumer Division's Kim Macfie says he's looking forward to unveiling the company's expanded product provision: "Thanks to this latest acquisition, our existing Toro Consumer and Lely agricultural dealers can look forward to widening their ranges of Toro Recycler mowers and hand-held garden equipment with complementary, quality SOLO products. And for existing and former SOLO and other dealers there's a great new opportunity to sell SOLO with the full support of the UK's best distributor of gardening and outdoor products."

Completing the Consumer Division's Saltex line-up is the Toro Consumer range of Recycler lawnmowers for homeowners, spanning pedestrian mowers like the compact electric Eurocycler or petrol-powered Multicycler to ride-on models for larger lawns, as well as equipment such as lawn-vacs, blower-vacs and trimmers.

Expected to be of particular interest is Toro's zero-turn range. Zero-turn technology allows the mowers to turn on a sixpence, anywhere between zero and 360 degrees, so that they can zip around trees, flowerbeds and other garden obstacles to achieve a close trim and perfect finish.
