Matthew Hoggard to support Maplive
With the first event in the MAP Live series just 2 weeks away, the 6 free one-day events provide the growing list of delegates with a unique opportunity to keep abreast of latest advice on cost effective best practice relevant to the current market.
Matthew Hoggard, ex-England cricketer, will be one of the speakers at the first event at Stoneleigh Park on 24th April, talking about the importance of sports surfaces. Visitors can claim CPD points and also have the chance to win an iPad and the most reliable weather forecasts on the planet from Weather Action. Another notable speaker will be Piers Corbyn, the owner of Weather Action. The company makes weather forecasts up to a year in advance, and which Piers also used to bet on, before being barred for making too much profit.
Touring the UK from late April to mid-July combining short, sharp seminar bursts with demo, the latest participants show its relevance to both manufacturers and dealers of kit, consumables, services and expertise.

All on the theme of how to achieve excellent results on sports and amenity open spaces when headcount and budget have been slashed, it fits the requirements of hard-pressed buyers from local authorities, parish councils, contractors and sports venues. Limited time, decreasing budgets and manpower are now the norm for buyers in our sector.
In addition to the dealers shortly to announce their involvement in the BAGMA demo arena at each event, The Compact Tractor Centre and Ernest Doe have both confirmed their plans.
Nathan Walker, Director, said "The Compact Tractor Centre, along with New Holland are delighted to be supporting the very first MAP Live event at Stoneleigh on 24th April. As both a specialist local groundcare dealer and a national distributor of New Holland compact machinery, we are looking forward to showing off the all new range of New Holland Boomers in a working environment. We are also looking forward to meeting the movers and shakers and decision makers that together make the local groundcare industry what it is. We are all facing tough times at the moment, but working together we can focus on the best solutions in terms not just of price, but performance, efficiency and ultimately profitability. Being able to do this on our doorstep rather than waiting and travelling to far flung national shows can only be a good thing! "
Ernest Doe is known for its innovation; and as Andy Turbin, General Sales Manager comments: "We are delighted to support MAP Live which we view as an essential development reflecting current market conditions and clearly addressing the problems of today's buyers; we congratulate the MAP Live team on its clear vision. We will be demonstrating a wide range of brands at the Ardingly event on 15th May, including: E-Z-GO golf buggies and utility vehicles, mowers from Ransomes Jacobsen, tractors from Case IH, compact tractors from Iseki and New Holland, utility vehicles from Kawasaki and Yamaha; sweepers and aeration equipment from Wiedenmann; mini-diggers from Hyundai and New Holland, and rollers from BOMAG." The Ernest Doe range also includes equipment from Ferris, Stihl and Husqvarna.

As Richard Campey, MD of Campey Turfcare the renovation partner for the series notes: "This series of demonstration days will provide us with an excellent opportunity to introduce grounds professionals to some of our high work rate renovation machinery, in a hands-on situation."
