Name change for WBB

As you may already be aware, WBB Minerals is part of the multinational Sibelco Group. Indeed, for many years Sibelco has been the name behind many of the world's leading industrial mineral companies and their brands. Like any business today, WBB Minerals is constantly evolving to reflect the changing needs of our customers and the dynamics of our markets. A recent restructuring of the Sibelco Group has created new opportunities for all Sibelco companies to better serve their customers with a wider portfolio of mineral products, backed by an expanded global network of technical expertise and logistical capabilities.

Against this backdrop I am pleased to inform you that we will be changing our name from WBB Minerals to Sibelco UK with effect from 1st October 2008. Over the coming months we will be phasing out our existing corporate identity and replacing it with the new logo (below) which reflects the global nature of our business and a new multi-mineral offering. This global icon will be adopted by all companies in the Sibelco Group as we move forward.

Whilst our name is changing, the people behind our business in the UK and their commitment to you as a valued customer remain unchanged. The new identity simply mirrors our expanded capabilities as an integral part of a wider Group. This is an exciting period in our company's history and I look forward to continuing to work with you.

The company will still be keeping the Rufford brand for Sports & Leisure markets.
