New compact power rake from Pinnacle

Pinnacle Power Equipment Limited has launched a new compact power rake the CR550, manufactured by Billy Goat.

Fitted with flail type blades with a working width of 50cm (20in), the new machine is available with a 5.5hp Briggs & Stratton Intek OHV engine or a 5.5hp GX Honda engine.

Designed and tested for professional and rental use, the rakes are built in the Billy Goat tradition for operation in tough conditions.

The CR550 is compact with a 9in (23cm) flail reel, short wheelbase and low unit weight. Working depth can be varied between 0.5in-0.75in and at 1.5 mph, 13,200 sq ft can be covered in an hour.

Low vibration is achieved by using a single piece construction dampening vibration and reducing the overall number of parts add to the user friendliness of this new model.

Featuring folding handles and construction grade cast iron bearings the CR550 is bound to be a hit with the professional and domestic hire user alike.
