New Holland T5050 tractor leads the pack at Wexford Racecourse

The reliability and quality of New Holland's T5050 tractor made it a safe bet for Wexford Racecourse in south-east Ireland.

The racecourse took delivery of the new machine this month after being impressed with the brand's dependability and ease of use having used one previously.

Features which secured the contract for the Enniscorthy Motor Company dealership were the 60-degree steering lock and the 24x24 transmission with the best powershuttle in the market today.

New Holland also demonstrated its adaptability by linking in with its Groundcare division to fit the tractor with specially requested Nokian tyres.

The T5050 also boasts a mechanical lift and great hydraulic output, combined with a spacious, comfortable cab.

Racecourse Grounds Foreman Stephen Dunne said: "We chose the T5050 because it's a good make of tractor and a good model, and we were used to New Holland tractors.

"We'll be using it for the usual things like moving fences and cutting grass. The tractor is a fine machine, it's very comfortable and every need is covered.

"We had a New Holland tractor before and that was the biggest reason we went back for another one - they are reliable and we have never had any trouble with them at all."

New Holland's Sales Area Manager in Ireland, James Carroll, said: "It's always good news when a customer highlights our machines' reliability as a reason for coming back to our friendly network of New Holland dealerships.

"We were more than happy to go that extra mile to fit the specially requested tyres too, as it is vital for us to make sure our clients are happy with every detail.

"It shows that the effort we put into delivering a trouble-free, local service within easy reach of our clients is really appreciated and brings people back to use us time and time again."
