New Holland T5050sNew Holland tractors have been rolling off the forecourt at the Turney Group after prestigious deals with Blenheim Palace and one of the UK's biggest grounds maintenance companies.

The larger of the two sales saw four T5050 tractors supplied to the Weston-on-the-Green branch of Continental Landscapes Ltd, in Oxfordshire, which works with customers from the south coast of England all the way to Scotland.

The second was a particularly high-status agreement with the famous Blenheim Palace estate in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. It took delivery of a T4.75 tractor to help keep its immaculate grounds in order.

Robert Millar, groundcare sales manager at the Turney Group, said: "These excellent deals were secured thanks to a winning combination of our commitment to customer care, and the quality and reliability of the machines."

The T5050 deal with Continental Landscapes Ltd, which employs more than 1,000 people and works in the public and private sectors, included three Ransomes 5/7 gang mowers.

The T5050 is part of the T5000 range which matches modern power to proven technology, providing a perfect balance for all types of field work. Compact, fuel-efficient, comfortable and agile, they have the longest routine service interval in the industry.

They will be deployed at Richmond Council's depot where Continental Landscapes Ltd recently won a contract to maintain the local authority's parks and sports grounds.

Tom Dew, plant manager at Continental Landscapes Ltd, said: "We buy lots of tractors, including a number of New Holland T5030s which we have got very good service from.

"We keep a very stringent history of our tractors so we know where they have come from, their background and every penny we spend on them. The New Holland tractors have simply been outperforming other tractors in our fleet."

Blenheim Palace, meanwhile, will be using its new T4.75 to maintain the award-winning gardens and parkland in immaculate order, both for His Grace The Duke of Marlborough and the 600,000 visitors that arrive each year.

The machine is comfortable, versatile and its power to weight ratio offers exceptional fuel economy.

Blenheim Palace Head of Gardens Hilary Wood said: "We have been dealing with the Turney Group and New Holland for over 30 years and our alliance with both companies remain as strong as ever due to the excellent workmanship, quality, reliability, customer care and strong customer commitment."
