New Holland’s T4060F unveiled at this year’s Fruit Focus
One of the highlights of the New Holland stand at this year's Fruit Focus show in Kent was the debut of the new range-topping T4060F tractor.
New Holland dealership Haynes showed off how the 106hp T4060F answers the demand for high power output in a compact package, available in all three variants: orchard, narrow and vineyard.
It boasts a 4.5-litre turbo charged and intercooled NEF engine that is fully compliant with B100, 100% biodiesel. Maximum power of 106hp is achieved at 2,300 rpm and a 31% torque rise means the T4060F is able to tackle the most demanding tasks, such as power harrowing, in the most challenging of environments.
Its new operator set-up in the cab has been designed to be as simple and ergonomically convenient as possible, with all key tractor functions repositioned and grouped on the right hand console for immediate and intuitive operation including the rear remote valve controls, together with the front and rear linkage controls.
The front part of the rear fenders has also been completely redesigned to offer a more natural operating position for the throttle and clutch pedals. The addition of a Bluetooth radio with MP3 compatibility enables operators to stay in touch in absolute safety no matter where they are.
Also on display at the show was the T4050N four-wheel-drive tractor, the Rustler 120 utility vehicle, and the TC24 compact tractor.
