New MD for Countax

David Sturges has accepted the role of Managing Director for Oxfordshire based Countax, manufacturer of ride-on mowers, recently purchased by Ariens.

After almost 20 years with Hayter Ltd., David brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his new role. David commented; "This is a tremendous opportunity, to build on Countax' great reputation, coupled with Ariens commitment and vision for the future. I know the team at Countax are very committed, and I look forward to working with them."

David started his career at Hayter as a Mechanical Design Engineer, was quickly promoted to International Sales Manager, and successfully earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cranfield University. For the last 8 years David has been the Sales and Marketing Director, as part of the executive leadership team, David was responsible for all of Hayter's sales, marketing and product management activities.
