New Ransomes Jacobsen Dealer holds demo day at The Vale Hotel Golf and Spa Resort

DEAL Turf Care, the recently appointed RANSOMES JACOBSEN dealer for South and Mid Wales, held a successful Demonstration Day at The Vale Hotel Golf & Spa Resort, near Cardiff recently.

Over 50 specially invited guests from golf clubs across the region attended the event, which enabled Managing Director David Evans to introduce his team and allowed the guests to ride and drive a wide range of equipment from the Ipswich-based turf equipment manufacturer.

After a welcome bacon roll and coffee, Joe Turner, Ransomes Jacobsen's Territory Sales Manager, welcomed the guests and then gave a short presentation highlighting the Ransomes Jacobsen organisation, its product range and position within the Textron group.

This was followed by David Evans' introduction of his team and then it was out onto the golf course, where the guests were able to test greens, tees, fairway and rotary mowers plus watch demonstrations of Turfco top dressers and Soil Reliever aerators. Mike Stott of GreenTek had two static display areas with a range of equipment including Thatchaway units, a Poa Buster and a selection of top dressing brushes. The day concluded with a buffet lunch in the clubhouse.

Commenting at the close of the event David Evans said, "We were absolutely delighted and astounded at the high turnout. It was the perfect platform to introduce ourselves to a number of significant golf clubs in our territory, while at the same time showing them the scope and scale of our product offering.
