Notts Sports Appoints New Head of Multi-Sports
Notts Sport, the leading supplier of sports and play synthetic surfacing solutions, has appointed a new Head of Multi-Sports.
Since joining the company seven years ago, Duncan Bennett has gained extensive knowledge of creating bespoke facilities for schools, local authorities and private sector customers throughout the UK.
His new role sees him co-ordinate the design and delivery of tennis courts, football and hockey pitches, working closely with clients to help them realise their ambitions based on the performance standards they require and their budgets.
Commenting on his appointment, Duncan says: "I'm delighted to be promoted to such a dynamic role in which each project is completely different, presenting new challenges and new solutions.
"I thoroughly enjoy meeting people and finding out what they want from a new facility and knowing that using Notts Sport systems we can provide a high-quality, cost-effective solution to fulfil their aims."
Notts Sport's synthetic multi-sport surfaces are a year-round solution for a range of individual activities which are ideal for schools, parks, leisure centres and health clubs.
The hard-wearing, quick-draining properties of its VHAF NottsSward carpets - teamed with controlled, predictable ball bounce regulated by the underlying performance layers - offer exceptional playing characteristics for coaching and matches.
Notts Sports' Multi-Sports division also provides multi-use games areas to offer a range of activities on one surface where space or budget is at a premium.
"Duncan was the ideal candidate for the Head of Multi-Sports role," says Andy Carter, Chief Executive of Notts Sport.
"He grew up in a family in which sport is a way of life, completed a degree in sports science before joining us, and in his spare time still plays centre midfield for Lutterworth Town FC in Leicestershire.
"Having honed his talent for managing projects within our ChildsPlay children's playground division, Multi-Sport is a natural progression for his interests and abilities."
