Obituary: Martin Coe

We are shocked and saddened at the sudden death of our colleague Martin Coe. Martin worked at the China Fleet Country Club for over 23 years. Firstly, in the golf shop, then joined the greenkeeping team and became Deputy Course Manager.

Golf was very important to Martin, with a hcp of 1.7, he was well regarded as a talented golfer, winning many Club Championships at Lostwithiel and also at China Fleet. He also volunteered championship support at:

• 2021 Open Support Team at Royal St Georges
• 2022/23 Support Team at BMW PGA Championships at Wentworth
• Martin is survived by his Partner Tammy, and children, Lilly, Thomas, Nakita and Jack.
• The funeral took place on the 12^th January at St Martin's Church Liskeard.
• There has been a Gofundme page set up to help the family during this time.
