Over 200 E-Z-GO golf buggies for The Club Company
The recent delivery of 50 buggies to The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club has completed a major order from The Club Company for over 200 E-Z-GO golf cars.
"This fleet of golf cars plays an important factor in the atmosphere, ambience and general golfing experience that we generate at all the clubs within the group", says Group Operations Director, Paul McCullough. "We have opted for the E-Z-GO TXT cars as they are electric powered and virtually noiseless. They also feature onboard chargers and a unique battery fill system which automatically tops up any cell that is low on electrolyte. The onboard charger allows the buggies to be recharged from any 240 volt socket at our bespoke buggy parks.
"We have a Golf Operations Manager responsible for the fleet, which are housed in a purpose-built storage barn, and he ensures that the buggies are rotated to enable them to be used to their optimum efficiency. We are delighted with these E-Z-GO cars; they are reliable, easy to maintain, quiet and I believe they give a better ride quality than other buggies as they sit higher and are more comfortable."
Situated in 465 acres of picturesque countryside, The Warwickshire, features two 18-hole courses - the Earls and the Kings; the 9-hole Castle course, a driving range and pitching and putting areas. The clubhouse has recently been refurbished at a cost of £1.3 million and now includes every convenience for members and visitors together with modern conference facilities.
