Toro_Z_Master_Z593_Di.47698.jpgEdenvale Turf started as a family business in Branscombe more than 20 years ago and moved to its present location in Dulford between Honiton and Cullompton in 2001. The business has grown steadily and now employs 14 full time people. Edenvale grows and supplies high quality turf and provides a comprehensive landscaping service.

An important strand of the operation is establishing and maintaining public open spaces, verges and gardens for a number of major house builders such as Persimmon Homes, Midas Homes and Rokbuild, prior to local authority adoption. Edenvale's activities stretch from St Austell to Bristol and across to Leigh-upon-Mendip.

The company has always invested in high quality machinery and has long operated a fleet of Toro pedestrian mowers from Hayter including 21" and 26" Heavy Duty models and a Toro Mid-size 48RD. The reliability of the Hayter mowers and the support of dealer Gwilliam Kellands was such that when expansion pointed to the need for a zero turn machine, there was no hesitation in seeing a demonstration and then purchasing a Toro Z Master Z597.

"A lot of our work has very tight areas and the Z Master does the job without the need for a hand mower", says Edenvale MD Steve Light. "It does wonders for our productivity because it goes on and off the trailer very easily and that means we can do five or six jobs in a day. The Z Master fits our needs exactly. I can't fault it and the operators love it."
