Quality cuts it at Royal Dublin GC

Royal Dublin 007AWhen Paddy Teeling was looking for a new fairway mower for the links at Royal Dublin Golf Club, he made his decision based on quality of cut. And that's why he approached local Ransomes Jacobsen distributor, Kevin Broderick Ltd and subsequently purchased a Jacobsen LF-3400 light fairway mower.

Paddy Teeling has worked at Royal Dublin for 21 years, the past five as links superintendent. He has seven full-time staff and one part-time and says that other considerations also influenced his purchasing decision.

"Quality of cut has to be the prime driver when purchasing new equipment and the 7-blade cylinders on the LF-3400 provide a consistent tournament quality cut. It follows the undulations really well and I think it beats anything other fairway mowers can offer. It's also very operator friendly with a simple one-touch joystick that delivers really precise control over the reels. The lads really like it and it's also very maintenance friendly."
