Razor at the Cutting Edge of Dennis Saltex Offering

IMG_0021.jpgDennis returns to Saltex on stand W58 showcasing their range of British manufactured, high quality, professional groundscare products. The company is synonymous with ornamental and fine turf sports surfaces, meeting the needs of groundsmen, greenkeepers and gardeners who often have highly individual needs.

Complementing the existing product range and following on from the successful launch of the Razor Ultra with its tungsten tipped groomer, Dennis will exhibit the new Razor with 560mm (22in) cutting width, 11 bladed cutting cylinder, an ultra short wheelbase for easy manoeuvrability on greens and an operator friendly design including click height adjusters and internally designed stub shafts for powered transport wheels.

The Razor will be an excellent machine for groundsmen, greenkeepers and gardeners looking to achieve the superb cut of the Razor Ultra without the need for a tungsten tipped groomer.
This design has been developed in response to customer feedback, a practice which has shaped so much of Dennis's advanced range.

IMG_0039.jpg "We know that groundsmen and greenkeepers are highly skilled individuals with personal preferences on how to do the job, so we keep our range as versatile as possible, our aim is always to give the professionals what they want," says Dennis Managing Director Ian Howard"

The ultimate in versatility would be the FT range, which always draws the crowds at Saltex with its interchangeable cassette system giving options to fit 11 different heads including scarifiers, verticutters, brushes, spikers and slitters as well as five or nine-blade cutter cassettes with 30 second changeover of cassettes.
A recent innovation which also offers flexibility - for renovations in this case - the S500 PLUS is an easy to use 'dual -purpose' machine and is ideal for bowls, cricket and golf as well as being equally at home on other fine turf surfaces.

The machine has a 510mm (20in) operating width and has interchangeable spiker and slotter reels. The spiker reel punches through the "surface pan" allowing air, water and fertiliser to penetrate the root zone, whilst the slotter reel creates ideal seed germination pockets. An optional seed box is available.

IMG_0045.jpgAt the other end of the pedestrian mower scale, visitors can admire the G860, with a 34in cut and 11 interchangeable cassettes. No less than 27 of these mowers were dispatched to South Africa to help the country's groundsmen prepare for the hectic World Cup schedule.
For reliability and performance the best place to be is on the Dennis stand.
