Rochford GM appointed distributor for DJ Turfcare.

Rochford GM has been appointed exclusive UK Distributor to the specialist garden machinery trade for the DJ Turfcare range.

The move announced at the recent Rochford Trade Day in Wincanton extends considerably Rochford's range of quality machinery aimed at the professional user.

Speaking on move MD Peter Rochford said, "We are delighted with this new appointment. DJ Turf are is a major addition to our range and indicates the increasing strength of the Rochford brand in the professional field. Our dealer base is nationwide and our line-up of machines aimed solely at the specialist dealer is unsurpassed."

Included in the DJ Turfcare stable is the Plugger, an aerating machine operating to a depth of 70mm and an overall width of less than 55cm.With a choice of Briggs & Stratton or Honda engines. The Plugger can fold down for transport or storage and is simple to use and highly manoeuvrable.

Also in the DJ Turfcare stable are the Atom Bunker & Kerb Edgers. They are powered by Komatsu Zenoah or Honda engines with automatic clutch and feature six position height-of-cut facility.

The Elephant's Trunk is another DJ exclusive. This harness system takes the weight of a hand held hedge trimmer and puts an end to aching arms,shoulders and back muscles.

The new distribution agreement is with immediate effect.
