Rochford Garden Machinery will be unveiling at Saltex two new models to their range of robust DR Field & Brush mowers, which will appeal to landowners who have been affected by the recent economic climate, looking for the maximum in performance at a minimal cost. The first, the incoming "Premier" model becomes the entry level model to the DR range- as the previous base model "Scout" is no longer offered, the Briggs & Stratton powered 12.5hp Premier model is now the smallest DR Field and Brush mower in terms of both size and price.

With a recommended retail price of £1779, the DR Premier offers the performance of a much larger, more expensive machine, representing exceptional value for money to the end user. Its 24" fixed brush deck is capable of clearing up to an acre an hour, mowing through 4 foot tall grass, over 6 foot tall weed and brush, yet it's scaled down dimensions make it effortlessly manoeuvrable. With 3 forward gears plus reverse, the knobbly 14"x6" tyres provide the traction needed to traverse the wettest areas of property and can easily access the tightest areas.

Also being introduced is the DR 15-42, a 15hp Kawasaki V-Twin powered walk-behind with a 42" mulch or side discharge lawn deck. Its front castor wheels enable tight turns whilst the high capacity deck means that the 15-42 can cover large areas of lawn quickly.

Aimed primarily at the domestic market, the DR Field & Brush Mowers are easy for any operator to use, with simple, grouped controls in a user-friendly layout, with the power of much costlier machines - their robust American construction can withstand the harshest working conditions and incorporates standard features including a heavy duty commercial clutch.

Rochford Garden Machinery will be exhibiting at Saltex stand H42.
