Rolling the pitch is a real gift.
Suffolk's Whitton United Football Club was recently presented with a much needed six foot pitch roller, donated by manufacturers SCH (Supplies) Ltd.
SCH's Jenny Wiggins handed the roller over to Facilities Manager Lucky Singh, and Groundsman Paul Ransome.
The Club had heard excellent reports about SCH products, and contacted the company to discuss which of the various pitch and ground care equipment would be most suitable for their needs.
Andrew Rodwell, Managing Director of SCH says that he enjoys helping and supporting the local community as much as possible.
'We are a small company and funds are limited, so we are unable to do this sort of thing as much as we'd like,' explains Andrew. 'But being based in Suffolk ourselves, we were delighted to be able to help Whitton United maintain their pitch. I'm sure they will enjoy many years of service from the roller.'
