Salford University graduate to an Eliet Shredder
Salford University graduate to an Eliet Shredder
By Lance Bassett
The University of Salford had a problem with what to do with the mountains of fallen leaves, branches and general natural debris around their campus, not to mention the litter from the thousands of students in this popular Greater Manchester seat of learning.
This capable machine has transformed the look of the university with the waste being transformed in seconds into a manageable product for incineration, composting or removal from site.
Compact and manoeuvrable with hydraulically driven wheels, the Super Pro 2000 was delivered and installed to university Landscape Manager Phil Cronin (Right) and his team by John Knight from nearby Pinnacle dealer, Burrows of Leyland.
The Eliet Super Pro 2000 Shredder is powered by an 18hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine with a capacity to deal with items up to 10cm diameter and is one of a range of professional shredders available from Pinnacle Power Equipment.
