SAPCA Sports and Play Construction: Exhibition and Seminars
Cardiff Millennium Stadium: Thursday 3 May 2007
Sports and Play Construction is a special one-day event, presented by SAPCA at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, and is just one week away! So if you have not already registered there's still time to do so!
The exhibition features the leading constructors of sports facilities and manufacturers and suppliers of related products and services, as well as professional consultants that offer expert advice on sports projects (a full list of exhibitors is shown below).
The event is essential for anyone involved in sports and play facility projects, including sports clubs, schools and colleges, local authorities, public and commercial sports centres, consultants, specifiers and contractors.
The event is supported by the Sports Council for Wales. Howard Tolley, Head of Active Communities will present the keynote seminar 'Getting Public Sports Facilities Fit for Future Generations' which takes an external view of the appropriateness of existing public sports facilities. This is set in context with changing Government priorities and ever-increasing public demands.
In addition there are a number of other seminars covering synthetic and natural sportsturf, indoor and outdoor surfacing construction and performance standards, playground design, floodlighting, tennis court refurbishment, surface maintenance, equipment and essential guidance for delivering your project.
Attendance at this event, which includes any of the seminars, is free of charge.
