Alan Abel and Ian Graham CWC.JPGComplete Weed Control have a brand new location at this year's show, where their extensive demo plot will enable visitors to see the company's groundbreaking weed control technology in action throughout the event.

Heightened sensitivity on the Mach 3 Weed-IT pesticide application system enables the operator to deliver even greater accuracy of chemical treatment to ensure that only weeds are sprayed.

CWC is focusing on new advances on the Weed-IT - for which it has sole user rights in the UK - to push home the message to public and private sector parks and facility managers that the machine is a vital element in any pesticide reduction programme.

Weed-IT 1.JPGContinuing with this theme, CWC's Managing Director, Ian Graham, will be taking part in the seminar programme on Wednesday at 10.45am. His presentation, 'Integrated Vegetation Management - Joined up thinking for controlling weeds in the urban environment', will tackle weed control in established town and cities. It'll also outline the practical steps that local authorities can take to enhance the urban environment and reduce the amount of herbicides they apply, beginning with the design of open spaces.

Visitors will also be able to see the very first demonstrations of baseguard, the range of flexible tree well surfaces that alleviate compaction, remove trip hazards, prevent weed growth and stop the collection of litter and leaves.
