Seed specialist to Exhibit at Turf Management EXPO

Press Releasein Industry News

A specialist seed merchant has announced it will be exhibiting at Europe's leading showcase for turf and grounds care professionals and buyers.

Hurrells Seeds will be present at BTME Harrogate in January next year.

Firmly established as the leading turf care show, the event takes place over three days, from 24 to 26 January at Harrogate International Centre; it will be the first time Hurrells has exhibited.

The company will use the event to showcase the following :

• Winter active high quality turf perennial, Collasseum, that was recently used at the Rugby World Cup in Eden Park, New Zealand - Collasseum grows at significantly lower temperatures yet still provides first class football and rugby pitches, growing at 3 degrees rather than the usual 8-12 degrees;

• A mixture using the unique merits of Collasseum - entitled Coldstart - that also uses the highly rated Carnac to underpin the quality and robust repair values on heavy-wear winter turf;

Nick Gladstone, Managing Director explained : "BTME offers us an unparalleled opportunity to meet potential and current customers and network with some of the industry's top manufacturers and service providers.

"Our customer base in the sports and amenity turf community continues to grow; we offer a highly reliable service with excellent delivery times; two days is standard and we also offer a next day service. This - combined with our expert advice on amenity grass seed mixtures - has made us invaluable to many businesses up and down the country. We have a comprehensive range of mixtures - and specialist ones readily supplied - and also offer competitive pricing."

The event will host more than 54 educational workshops and seminars; now in its 24th consecutive year, the exhibition encompasses every product in the industry including turf and seeds, water, lake and pond management, artificial grass, course furniture, drainage, fertilizers, groundscare machinery and equipment, irrigation, mowers, soil biology, spraying and wetting agents.
