Lance Bassettin Industry News

BaronessExhibiting for the second time at BTME this year, Kyoeisha UK are showing their range of Baroness fine turf machinery on stand C36.

The Baroness line-up consists of four distinct series each aimed at a specific area of maintenance for fine turf areas including ride-on rotary mowers, ground management machines, ride-on and pedestrian cylinder mowers, flail mowers and tractor-mounted units.

Established favourites such as the pedestrian greens mowers, fairway machines and the recently introduced GM2800 5-unit rotary mower will be exhibited.

The GM2800 is a powerful, flexible mower designed to deliver a high work rate with a quality cut even on the most demanding of terrain. Five independently mounted rotary cutting units ensure maximum contour following in all conditions and on-demand four-wheel drive means the GM2800 is comfortable on slopes and turns.

Power is supplied by a mighty Kubota V2403M-T 56hp engine enabling the mower to motor at 16kph in two-wheel drive and up to 9kph in four-wheel drive.

Cutting width is 280cm (110in) and the rear cutter decks can be easily swung out for maintenance access ensuring no more inaccessible and unserviceable areas.

In addition Kyoeisha will be launching several new machines at the show Including a ride-on greens mower, tractor mounted greens aerators and a bunker rake.
