raf halton RAF Halton has put its faith in Technical Surfaces by signing up to a five-year maintenance contract to provide specialist maintenance to their synthetic tennis courts.

The prestigious site sits in the beautiful undulating countryside of Buckinghamshire, 30 miles North-West of London and provides gliding, horse-riding, hockey, tennis, athletics, cycling, orienteering, canoeing, rugby, football, golf, swimming and cross-country running along with opportunities for Adventurous Training. RAF Halton is the RAF's 'Home for Sport' for 14 sports and somewhere the local community can also make use of the facilities on offer.

Technical Surfaces has provided regular and remedial maintenance on the surfaces at the base for the past three years, and the commitment to a five-year maintenance programme signifies their satisfaction with the level service of Technical Surfaces.

RAF Halton has a long and successful history of training, spanning over eighty years. The Stations role is to train personnel for the Air Force of tomorrow. This includes Recruit Training and Basic Trade training for suppliers, caterers, policemen, and administrators.

Tennis Club Vice Chairman, Nick Leighton, explains their decision: "It is important that we can offer high standards to all of our members, and Technical Surfaces can certainly help us to do that".
