The Toro Company has announced that Rick Olson will be its next CEO
The Toro Company has announced that Rick Olson will be its next CEO.
Olson will take over on 1st November from Michael Hoffman, who will remain chairman.
Olson, 52, joined Toro in 1986 as a manufacturing process engineer. He was promoted last August to chief operating officer from his previous position as group vice president of international and micro-irrigation businesses. He joined Toro's board of directors in January.
Olson has a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He serves on the boards of The Toro Foundation and the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute.
