Tralee 014ASituated on the rugged Atlantic coast of Ireland's south west lies the Arnold Palmer-designed Tralee Golf Course, a unique combination of traditional seaside golf links and stunning scenery. The links has a variety of features including towering dunes, undulating fairways, punishing rough and cliff top tees and greens. To enhance the golfing experience for its members and the many visitors from the USA, the club recently purchased a fleet of E-Z-GO RXV golf cars from local distributor Kevin Broderick Ltd. E-Z-GO is a Textron Inc.(NYSE: TXT) company.

Commenting on the value to the business of the new fleet, manager/secretary Anthony Byrne said, "We previously ran a fleet of E-Z-GO TXT golf cars, but our four-year lease was up and we needed to refresh the vehicles, especially as they are popular with many of our US visitors.

"We took Kevin Broderick's advice, had a look at the new electric RXV and were immediately impressed. We could use our existing facility for charging, without incurring any expense and once we looked at the features on the new RXVs, it was an easy decision.

Tralee 008A"We are a golf destination from American golfers, and although you can only really appreciate this stunning course by walking it, we appreciate that for some, a golf car is essential. The RXV has many excellent features, but its in-built technology ensures more rounds per charge than any other golf car on the market and, for enhanced safety it applies the brakes automatically when the buggy stops."
