The Jeyes brand heritage is in disinfection, the experts in tough cleaning. The large 500 ml bottle size is for use both in the home and away from home.
Conformity
Jeyes Fresh Hands conforms to European (EN) regulatory standards for efficacy against bacteria when 6.8 ml was rubbed into the hands for a minimum of one minute.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have recommended that when soap and water* are not available, alcohol based hand sanitisers that contain at least 60% alcohol provide an effective means of inactivating many types of microbe including bacteria and viruses.
*Alcohol based hand sanitisers are most effective when the hands are not visibly soiled.
Usage Guidance
- Dispense a small amount (6.8 ml) of the product into a cupped hand.
- Rub hands together to enable the hand sanitiser to coat the whole hand trying to adhere to the following technique:
- Rub hands together palm to palm
- Rub the back of each hand with the palm of the other hand and fingers interlaced
- Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced
- Rub back of the fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked
- Rub each thumb clasped in the opposite hand using a rotational movement
- Rub tips of fingers in opposite palm in a circular motion
- Rub each wrist with the opposite hand
- Wait until the product has completed evaporated. There is no need to dry the hands.
