Allen Power Equipment has introduced a new 71.99cc backpack blower to their range, the EBZ8000. This new Komatsu Zenoah product is fitted with the KZ Strato-Charged engine providing 30% lower emissions and 30% low fuel consumption than traditional engines.

The EBZ8000 produces the largest air volume for any backpack blower at 19.5 cubic metres per minute, and is one of the quietest units on the market. The machine incorporates all the other features of other KZ backpack blowers, free-flow net guard prevents clogging by leaves and low-drag flexible hose means low noise levels.

The throttle is mounted on the blower tube for one-handed operation and minimum vibration and the throttle is fitted with an Auto-cruise trigger to maintain optimum air speed. A large 'Bilayer' air filter ensures particles are filtered longer and a fish-tail nozzle is available as an option. Other features include a 2.3 litre fuel tank for longer periods between refuelling.

The EBZ8000 weighs just 11.3 kgs and retails at £468.07excl Vat.
