Another Ransomes Mastiff for Goodison Park

The new machine joins an ever burgeoning fleet of turf maintenance equipment supplied to the Premiership club by Burrows (GM) Ltd, Ransomes Jacobsen's dealer for the northwest region.

"In my opinion the Mastiff is the ideal machine for match day preparation here at Goodison," says Bob. "We've had it fitted with the 36" 9-blade cylinder option and a special grooved roller which Burrows had specially made to our specification. This combined with its weight and reliability makes it the perfect mower as far as I'm concerned. With most matches featured on satellite TV every weekend, presentation is extremely important and the Mastiff is unbeatable."

The turf maintenance fleet used by the Everton grounds staff includes a Jacobsen Tri-King ride-on triplex mower, four Ransomes Mastiffs and an Iseki TK532 compact tractor - all used at both Goodison Park and the Bellfield training facility.

Lee Ashcroft of Burrows added, "We have an excellent working relationship with Everton and have supplied numerous items of equipment to Bob over the years. The pitch at Goodison is in fantastic condition, especially when compared to some of the playing surfaces at other Premiership clubs. It's a superb testament to the hard work of Bob and his team."
