CAMPEYS INTRODUCE ENHANCED POYNTZ TURF HARVESTER

The machine is now based on a New Holland TN75D tractor, ample power for an even higher work rate. The machine can be switched between 2- and 4-wheel drive to suit ground conditions, and a 16 forward and 16 reverse speed gearbox gives greater versatility.

Other enhancements include a side-mounted exhaust, ensuring uninterrupted operator vision, plus a canopy that extends over the rear so that the turf stacker/operator is fully protected from the elements. The Poyntz Turf Harvester also now has a luxurious operator environment, with a cab, full air conditioning and a radio.

The machine retains the superior plus-points that have made it extremely popular with commercial turf growers and nurseries. It is fitted with floating heads, and an auto-steer system ensures that a straight cutting line is maintained. Depth of cut is controlled hydraulically. Standard equipment includes headlights, hydrostatic steering and a differential lock for traction in challenging conditions.

All controls, including the shuttle shift, are located within easy reach of the operator, and the hydraulic controls and depth control are located near the operator's right shoulder, so that all major instruments are within easy reach.

The Poyntz Turf Harvester is part of a comprehensive equipment range offered by Campey Turf Care Systems for the construction, maintenance and renovation of sports turf facilities and landscaped areas.
