Claymore inherit new Legacy
By Lance Bassett
Claymore Grass Machinery has announced the addition of a new model to their range of Simplicity lawn and garden tractors.
A 'clean slate' design approach combined with 80 years experience has led to this new commercial-duty machine launched for 2004. Powered by a 27hp Briggs & Stratton liquid-cooled diesel engine with hydrostatic drive and 4WD as standard, the new Legacy XL has a 54in (137cm) mower deck with full width rollers and electric height of cut adjustment.
The deck is shaft drive and the tractor is fitted with a Category 1 three-point linkage plus mid and rear PTO. Operator comfort is a prime feature with tilt steering wheel and fully adjustable 45cm high back seat.
Rugged design features such as cast-iron front axle and heavy-duty frame means years of tough usage are assured. A differential lock is fitted as standard plus a new 4-way joystick system that provides complete attachment control. With the trend continuing towards diesel on bigger engine models, Claymore see this as a valuable addition to their Simplicity line-up.
The new Legacy XL 4WD inc. 54in deck retails at £9,500 plus Vat.
