First Mini Mayhem Winner claims her prize
The first winner of the first ever on-pack promotion from Baby Bio as part of its 'Brighten Your World - Win a Mini!' promotion has been treated to an action packed day of racing in Oxford, after winning a Mini Mayhem Day.
Jane Hook from Epsom was presented with a hamper of Baby Bio goodies and a bottle of champagne from Baby Bio's brand manager Natalie Bent to celebrate being the first winner to claim her prize, before putting herself in Michael Caine's shoes and racing a Mini Cooper 'Italian Job' style.
Baby Bio joined forces with Mini in the special on-pack peel back promotion to celebrate 50-plus years as Britain's favourite houseplant feed, the re-launch of the Mini Cooper and the classic 1969 film, giving customers purchasing one of Baby Bio's promotional bottles the chance of winning a brand new Mini Cooper, with 150 Mini Mayhem Days on offer as runner-up prizes.
Winner Jane said: "I was delighted to win a Mini Mayhem Day. After getting some expert driving tuition and having a demo lap with an instructor, I was given the chance to race a Mini Cooper around the track. It was a fantastic experience and very exciting. I would definitely recommend it for any thrill seekers out there!"
Natalie Bent, brand manager for Baby Bio, said: "As the first Mini Mayhem winner, we wanted to treat Jane to a day she would never forget. The promotion has been a great success and is still going strong, as the top prize - the funky Mini Cooper - still hasn't been won! There are also over 100 Mini Mayhem Days on offer like Jane's that are yet to be claimed, so consumers need to look out for promotional packs in-store that feature the 'Brighten Your World - Win a Mini!' label."
Along with racing the Mini Cooper, Jane had the opportunity to test out an E-Type Jaguar. She was then shown how the experts drive the cars to the limit as a passenger in a Subaru Impreza and a Porsche 911.
Jane continued: "I'd like to thank Baby Bio for the experience, they pulled out all the stops and by the end of the day I felt spoilt rotten. The most enjoyable part was test driving the Mini Cooper and I would have taken this home had they let me!"
