More new mowers for West Lothian Council
By Peter Driver
West Lothian Council has returned to Fairways GM, Ransomes Jacobsen's dealer for Scotland, and purchased two new Ransomes Parkway ride on triple mowers to help maintain outdoor play areas, parks, recreation areas, open spaces and sports grounds in the region.
Replacing two older machines, the new Parkways are part of the commitment by the Council's Neighbourhood Environment Teams (NETs) and Land Services to keep the fleet as up-to-date as possible. NETs and Land Services currently operate 17 Parkways and three Ransomes Hydraulic 5/7 gang mowers on their extensive grounds maintenance fleet.
Jim Saunders, Locality Manager commented,
"We are familiar with the Ransomes Parkway and it has always given us excellent results in terms of reliability and quality of cut. Our relationship with Fairways is growing and their support to the team here has been very good."
