The Dandy Highwayman hits the road

Dandys Topsoil & Turf Supplies with their head office based in Chester have appointed a new UK Sales Manager who will cover the whole of the UK.

John Carter formally of Environmental Turf Technology has been appointed as Dandys UK Sales Manager. Based in Derby, John will be central in Dandys Pro-active Sales Strategy for 2005/6.

To coincide with John's arrival to Dandys a brand new 32 Tonne tipper wagon with remote control grab will be arriving.

Part of John's work will be selling our award winning Lawnmix and Bordermix topsoils to Landscapers and builders merchants across the UK as well as gravels, composts, manure and bark.

John will be heading up our sales team based at our Chester Distribution Depot.

Director of Dandys Adam Dandy said "I've known John for quite a while now and know just how much of an asset he will be to Dandys, he's just the man for the job. Over the next 12 months we will be working hard to deliver the best and possibly the biggest range of landscape materials to Builders merchants, garden centres and landscapers across the UK. Our fleet of over 15 HGV delivery vehicles and our brand new grab wagon will be able to deliver to our customers next day anywhere in the UK.

In the past 12 months we have increased our turnover by 37% and over the next 12 months who knows, but I don't think it will be long before John will be overseeing new Dandys reps in different areas of the UK.
