Application Information

When to use

For optimal results, apply early in the season before algae and aquatic weeds begin to establish.

How to use

• Add the required volume directly into the water; it will disperse naturally through normal water movement.
• Distribution can be improved by maintaining active water circulation, such as pumps or aeration systems.
• Blackout should be applied near the shoreline at various locations around the lake or pond to achieve the best coverage.
• Reapplications of Blackout will help maintain the desired water colour throughout the season.
• This product should NOT be applied to streams, rivers, outflows or water not completely controlled by the user.

Application rate: 2.5 - 5L/ha
