The array of closely spaced tines provides a high volume of essential surface aeration which aids water and air penetration and consequently balanced gaseous exchange.
This process is absolutely crucial for stimulating soil biology which in turn results in consistent grass plant health and vitality.
Sarel tine aeration can also be undertaken when seeding and top dressing to assist seed protection and soil contact.

We require deliveries to be signed for. If no one is available to sign for your delivery, you may request it is left in a safe place by leaving a signed note for the driver, requesting the item is left without a signature. For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750 kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000 kg applies.

"A really good and useful piece of kit. I’ll be using this on a regular basis I’m sure. It appears to be really well made and is certainly heavy enough to penetrate fully in to my loam soil turf. Easy to operate and requires little effort when pulled (not pushed). It’s not cheap, but nothing that’s well made like this ever is! .. if you are on the fence about investing then take this as a ‘big fat yes’ from me."
"The spikes came off in the first roll, luckily we found them on the tennis court and rebooted them, the supplier has promised to send some extra spikes"

"After receiving advice from Bowls England, we decided to purchase a manual spiking roller. We chose the 24inch model because, at about 56 kg, it would be possible for one person to use it, if need be. We bought it from Pitchcare because they could deliver within a couple of days as well as being considerably cheaper than other suppliers. The roller has already proved its worth when it was used before applying fertiliser and seed. I am sure it will prove to be the most useful item we have bought in a long time. A few days ago, I attended a course run by Dennis SISIS and was told once again that it was a vital tool for any bowls club."

"Needed this piece of equipment for my small village cricket team. I received the product promptly. However it's very expensive for what it is and also the delivery charge was excessive and also I left notes which werent passed to the driver and therefore it wasnt the smoothest of processes. So overall very expensive and delivery not as smooth as it should be considering money spent."
