'King John' Richards latest Wolverhampton Wanderers FC Old Gold Club inductee

In October last year, Wolves launched the Old Gold Club, a brand new podcast and video feature hosted by Mikey Burrows and Chris Iwelumo.

Every week, a former Wolves player or manager is inducted into the Old Gold Club, where they sit down with Mikey and Chris to record a thirty minute Facebook show, followed by an extended chat that goes live as a podcast.

This week featured our very own John Richards, whom many of you will know was a former Wolves striker, making more than 480 appearances in gold and black, earning him his nickname as 'King John'. The club legend discusses scoring goals at the top level, training at West Park and walking up the steps at Wembley as well as much, much more.

The 68-year-old, who earnt his single England cap whilst at Wolves, talks about his fourteen years at Molineux and notching almost 200 goals.
