PR4087 Toro training guideLeading distributor Lely UK has launched its new Toro Turfcare Machinery Training Guide 2013

The 12-page booklet is packed full of the industry-leading training Lely is renowned for, from classic operator training sessions leading to NPTC certification, to specialist spray technician and chemical application courses.

Also featured in this year's programme is a dedicated cutting technology and after-cut appearance course. Designed to help operators get the very best performance out of their Toro mowers, this one-and-a-half-day session covers troubleshooting, routine maintenance, factors that can affect quality of cut and grinding procedures.

And experienced operators can opt for Lely's 'Train the Trainer' course. This allows individuals to develop their instructional skills so that they can then run in-house operator training courses for colleagues - a bonus for venues keen to economise on the time and cost commitment of sending staff for off-site training without compromising on ongoing learning and development.

Commenting on the launch of the guide, Lely's head of Toro training Neil Adams says: "We're really pleased to launch our latest training courses, which are essential to helping customers get the very best out of their Toro machinery. We're committed to providing the highest standard of training available in the industry and believe these courses offer a great mix of hands-on learning and expert guidance. Our 'Train the Trainer' scheme also shows how flexible we can be and, on that note, we encourage anyone looking for more tailored training to contact us as we'll be happy to help."

Lely's training courses are held in its state-of-the-art training centre, conveniently located in Cambridgeshire at its St Neots headquarters. For more information, call 01480 226800 or email nvadams@lely.com. Alternatively, download the guide from www.lelyliterature.co.uk.
