Show to focus on Midlands Sporting Facilities
The Sports Facility Show is a one-day event aimed at anybody, at any level, involved in the development of sports facilities - from sports clubs and schools to leisure operators and local authorities. It includes a full programme of seminars, an exhibition and expert advice from industry leaders.
The event will give those attending the latest insight into a range of topics including: funding sources for sports facilities, how to make a funding application, designing multi-use games areas, how to cost-effectively renovate existing sports facilities, sports facility design for modern schools, lighting for outdoor sport, sports surface maintenance, and a guide to sports facility procurement.
Chris Trickey, Chief Executive of SAPCA, stresses why the event is a crucial tool to those concerned with the design, procurement, construction, and maintenance of sports facilities.
He said: "The Sports Facility Show is an indispensable aid to help those involved in almost every aspect of indoor and outdoor sports facility development. It features an extraordinary array of industry leaders and experts offering essential project advice and guidance to get the most out of your facility. Our last event in Ravenscraig in Scotland attracted over 270 delegates, many of whom found it an invaluable opportunity to network.

Gold-medallist, world record holder and recent Chair of the West Midlands Leadership Group for the 2012 Games, Dave Moorcroft, OBE, will be chairing the event.
The Sports Facility Show takes place on Thursday 27 June 2013 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
