Chris Harris@Saltex.JPGTurf managers with large areas to maintain, contractors with a busy workload, councils looking to increase efficiency - power is increasingly in demand in the groundcare sector, but it still needs to come in a user friendly, straightforward package.

TYM Tractors launched its largest tractor to date, the 100hp T1003, at Saltex to precisely meet these needs. Delivering 100hp from a proven, reliable Perkins 1104D-44TA engine, the T1003 has the muscle to tackle tasks from gang mowing to hedge and verge trimming and handling the meatiest aerator or decompactor.

With a 32x32 speed powershift transmission offering a top speed of 40kph, the T1003 is at home travelling on the roads between jobs, renovating a pitch or maintaining a park, and offers simple, convenient operation.

Linkage lift capacity of 3110kg, three remote hydraulic valves and an output of 88.2hp from the three-speed pto match ideally with the latest high output implements, while front loaders and pick-up hitches can be specified to further increase versatility.

T1003.jpgThis tractor remains compact enough to manoeuvre easily around the works yard with a wheelbase of 2300mm, and weighs in at 3685kg. A fuel tank capacity of 125 litres is more than ample for a long working day. Hard working operators are well catered for with the spacious cab, which includes air conditioning and cool box as standard, plus an audio system.

TYM's Chris Harris comments: "If you are looking for power, economy and operator comfort, the T1003 will fit the bill. It is the ideal tractor where groundcare operations require the use of heavier and more demanding implements."

The T1003 tops out a range which features models from 23hp to meet the requirements of groundcare professionals looking for economical, efficient tractor power.
